În duminica Straşnicei judecăţi, în timpul slujbei de seară, în mănăstirea Adormirii Maici Domnului din Odesa un bărbat neidentificat şi-a pus capăt zilelor deasupra raclei cu cinstitele moaşte ale Cuv. Kukşa al Odesei.
Potrivit martorilor oculari, aceasta s-a întâmplat duminică seara, pe data de 22 februarie 2009, în momentul citirii canoanelor, când preotul miruia creştinii.
În biserică a intrat un bărbat uscăţiv (de vreo 40 de ani) îmbrăcat în scurtă de piele şi blugi. S-a apropiat de moaştele Cuv. Kukşa, în preajma căreia se aflau câteva credincioase. Spre surprinderea tuturor, br usc se dezbrăcă şi rămase absolut gol (şi-a scos şi încălţămintea).Atunci s-a văzut că pe piciorul stâng, mai jos de genunchi avea fixat un cuţit lung.
Ceea ce s-a întâmplat după aceasta i-a şocat pe toţi: bărbatul s-a înclinat deasupra moaştelor cuviosului şi şi-a înfipt pumnalul în inimă, s-a auzit un sâsâit puternic (probabil şi-a străpuns plămânul) şi sângele a năboit peste raclă, vărsându-se abundent pe podeaua bisericii...
Imediat s-au apropiat câţiva bărbaţi şi l-au tras într-o parte. Acesta s-a opus, apoi se lăsă neputincios şi dând ochii peste cap, a căzut. A fost pus pe o targă din scânduri şi scos din biserică, au sosit „ambulanţa" şi poliţia...
Cei prezenţi au rămas înmărmuriţi de cele văzute - se săvârşise un mare sacrilegiu! Vrăjmaşul neamului omenesc şi-a trimis sluga sa pentru a profana o biserică ortodoxă. Slujba a continuat deja în altă biserică din mănăstire.
Sinucigaşul a murit a doua zi în spitalul orăşenesc din Odesa. Poliţia îl consideră alienat.
Creştinii au calificat acest incident drept un semn înfiorător şi osânditor. Sinuciderea a fost rituală. După cum se ştie, în bisericile ortodoxe pe pristolul cu moaştele sfinţilor se săvârşeşte sfânta liturghie, în timpul c ia se aduce lui Dumnezeu Jertfa fără de sânge. În cazul dat sinucigaşul a adus jertfă de sânge pe moaştele cuviosului...
Astăzi, când se vădesc distinct semnele vremurilor de pe urmă şi ale apostaziei generale, creştinii sunt în aşteptarea aprecierii teologice a acestui caz ieşit din comun. Nici un monah din mănăstirea Adormirii Maicii Domnului nu-şi putu aminti ceva asemănător în istoria Bisericii. Toţi părinţii sunt de părerea că ceva are să se întâmple, şi după cum cred ei, nu doar la nivelul mănăstirii lor sau a oraşului Odesa, ci la scara ţării sau chiar a întregii omeniri.
Doamne, Iisuse Hristoase, Fiul lui Dumnezeu, miluieşte-ne pre noi, păcătoşii.

I would say that having a failmy of 5 with 3 of those children in car seats presents a lot of the same issue. We have to use a third row of seating because we cannot fit 3 car seats across! I've heard a lot of great things about the GMC Acadia, and that was actually my first choice when shopping for a bigger car but my husband shot that down. My second choice was a Ford Expedition, until I shut the doors and they felt like they were from a tin can. Driving my Q7 is fine for the daily stuff, but I do have to say that 1) going to Costco, and 2) going anywhere with all of the kids that requires we bring a bunch of stuff is a total pain in the rear. It makes me desire a GMC Yukon XL Denali just like my mormon neighbor!

My husband drives a Honda Civic Hybrid, and I have had my Honda Odyssey for 11 years!!! It has been a wonderful part of our family, but smells and looks awful at this point. Our oldest is 14 and our youngest is 7, plus we have two dogs and we like to camp. The odyssey is still on our list, as it has served us well with ZERO maintenance issues, aside from usual brakes and tires. The Suburban is also on our list, and I love it, but is quite pricier Thank you for the idea of checking out the Acadia and the Flex, I will put those on my list! I have a family of 6 and we rentlecy just traded in our GMC Acadia because as it reached 70,000 miles it began to fall apart. Its known for transmission problems. That car taught me a great lesson however, when I looked for my new car I made sure to find out the true cost of replacement parts. A set of tires for the Acadia set me back $1200 and a new headlight was $80.
